Pole Pressure Is Ready For The International Pole Convention But Is The International Pole Convention Ready For Pole Pressure?!

We’re packing our bags and getting ready for the biggest gathering of Polers in the World… let’s just say WE ARE EXCITED!!

Sarah is working hard on the group choreography for our group routine at the Convention and she can’t stop talking about how excited she is to teach the routine. The troupe’s first gathering will be Monday, April 23rd at 8:30pm at the Downtown DC Studio and anyone with a Pole Level 2 and above are welcome to join the group.

The Convention is all about ‘Pole Community’ and really just a big celebration. We’re celebrating our unity and our common interest which is our LOVE FOR POLE!! We’ll be high-fiving, laughing, taking goofy photos and learning new moves all with total strangers. Well, we’re strangers at the beginning of the event and we’re best friends by the end.

Everyone parties each night like there is no tomorrow and some of the best moments of the year, happened at the Convention. There are some things I am really looking forward to seeing at this upcoming Convention:

If this is the first time you’re hearing about the Pole Convention, then you have a lot of catching up to do. If you’re ready for another awesome Pole Convention, then get your Pass ASAP if you haven’t. If you got your pass, and have already packed your bags, then you must be as excited as I am

This is a ‘Must-See’!! Delaney, 12 year old local YouTube star, filmed our studio and staff playing around on the Poles. The young girl is quite talented and has an amazing eye for production. In our 2012 Promo Video, I wanted it to show our wild personalities, how much fun we have in our studio and show the diversity of our staff.

I always take pictures and videos of our events and I put together a montage of the most recent ‘Valentine’s Day Chair Brunch Workshop’ with Amanda Schmidt. She’s such an all-star and I think she needs to go on a Chair Workshop Tour to all of our studios. Amanda has a very bubbly personality, great sense of humor and experience when it comes to making chair routines. She’s also a great leader and speaker in front of large groups. It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year!!

No! It’s not Christmas or Hanukkah! It’s The Miss Pole Pressure Competition!

Tomorrow night, 10 students and 5 instructors will be competing to go to the Tri-State Pole Invitational in March. The students also have a chance to win Unlimited Classes for a year at any/every Pole Pressure Studio. Each competitor is also competing for a Miss Pole Pressure Champion sash and bouquet. TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT!!

If you saw our troupe perform in the Battle Of The Pole Studios and you felt the intensity in the room, you can only imagine how tomorrow is going to go. GO POLE PRESSURE!!

Miss Pole Pressure Competitors Gear Up

Pole Pressure has some of the greatest Polers in the area and now they’re all in training for the biggest Pole Pressure event of the year. The judges will select the top 4 student and top 4 instructor competitors to move on to the Regional Competition in March. They also win a sash and unlimited Pole Pressure classes for a year.

The Low-Down: Santa Baby Chair Workshop

All you need to know is… IT WAS AWESOME!!

Amanda continues to ‘Wow!’ me and I feel like she has just blossomed in the past 2 years. She taught a super-cute routine on Sunday at Pole Pressure Cleveland Park. It was a full house and everyone had a smile from ear to ear.

She taught the chair routine with a boa, chair and the song, ’Santa Baby’. It involved hip dips, boa circles and body tracing. It was simple, elegant and classy. Check out all of the fun that the ladies of Pole Pressure Cleveland Park had!! Watch the video here.
